        Have just been reading about a UFO sighting in California and a
few thoughts have just occured to me. BTW I'm not trying to debunk these
sightings, just open up a discussion on other aerial activities. 

        A few years back I bought a book titled 'Earthlight Phenomenon'
and found it quite interesting. The book attempted to explain some but
not all types of UFOs as lights caused by huge stresses in the ground.
Some of these lights would appear just before earthquakes or earth
tremors or around fault areas in the surrounding terrain. 
        As California lies on a major fault I was wondering if any major UFO
sightings in this area preceed any earthquake, big or small. Does anyone
know of any sightings before last years major quake or if any were seen
before the Kobe quake in Japan?
